Bearing School is a private school located in Samutprakarn, a district in south Bangkok. The school was founded in 1904 and is one of the most popular institutions for primary and secondary education in Thailand. By 1936, the school had been approved by the Thai Ministry of Education, and has since received four Royal awards for the best Elementary and Secondary School. The school itself is an all girls school ranging from primary to secondary students, with classes typically comprising 20-30 students. You will most likely be teaching primary students who are 6-11/12 years old but it is possible you will be given the older aged students who are aged between 11 and 17 years old.

The English teachers placed at this school will be working alongside several other native English speaking teachers, so it will be a good opportunity to get to know a small community of fellow teachers that you can socialize with outside of school hours. There is a curriculum and resources provided and teaching hours at the school will be no more than 24 hours per week. The school day begins with assembly at 8am with classes starting at 8.30am. The school day then ends at 3.30pm.
